Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking personnel for Leads and Finishing on 2nd shift with a pay range of $24.19–$26.29 per hour plus shift differential. The role involves attaching lead wires and terminals, insulating connections, and applying finishing materials in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include operating hydraulic crimpers, wiring assembly, machine setup for finishing, and performing quality inspections of cores and materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extensive periods of time.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be able to work independently and foster teamwork with others.
• Read, use, and understand measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Attach lead wires or terminals to copper wire and insulate per design requirements.
• Operate hydraulic or manual hand crimping tools to splice wire/terminals.
• Set up finishing machine, understand settings, and ensure proper operation to avoid downtime.
• Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials.
• Finish units to production specification sheets.
