Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking workers for Leads/Finishing on 1st shift. The role involves attaching lead wires or terminals to copper wire, insulating connections, and applying components per design specs. A climate-controlled facility, paid time off, holidays, and benefits are provided.

Overtime is required, with a 20% shift differential noted for 2nd shift. Responsibilities include operating hydraulic crimpers, setting up finishing equipment, and performing inspections to ensure production

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hydraulic crimpers.
• Ability to alter, trim and attach materials per work instructions such as wire, insulation and tape.
• Read measuring devices and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must stand for extended periods and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Attach lead wires or terminals to copper wire and apply insulation.
• Set up finishing machine and monitor settings to avoid downtime.
• Perform pre-/post-inspection of cores and materials.
• Operate hoist safely and efficiently.
