Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to lead plant-level safety, health, and security programs, guiding employees and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and internal standards.

The role drives ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and sustainability efforts, conducts incident investigations, and supports training and environmental reporting while collaborating with engineering and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Must comply with Nestlé policies, including safety programs, GMP, corporate citizenship initiatives, SHE strategies, and quality systems (NQMS and ISO standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Occupational Health & Safety).

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to promote active employee participation in safety programs.
  • Support delivery of safety training programs to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Drive ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and related sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in accident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Audit safety standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Develop and review JHAs and support safe design for new equipment.
  • Coordinate with emergency services and external stakeholders for preparedness.
  • Support workers’ compensation programs and return-to-work processes.
