Job summary

Senior Flexonics in Bartlett, IL is seeking a 2nd shift EGR Coolers Tubemill Operator. You will set up and operate tube mills/welders to form tubing, load materials, and perform weld inspections on a manufacturing line.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, basic English, and a mechanical aptitude with experience in automated machining preferred. The position offers full-time hours, shift premium, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating automated machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred; tube mill experience is a plus
• Candidates without prior manufacturing experience will be considered if they demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring and inspection equipment

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate tube mills/welders to form tubing
• Load strip and guides through lead-in or profile rolls to form tube in preparation of welding process
• Adjust welding equipment to achieve proper weld
• Cut tubing to length and place in temporary storage racks
• Perform burst test to check weld
• Change out weld rolls and blades
• Perform weld section mounts and other quality checks
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition
