Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Prehung Door Casing Assembler for a 2nd shift. You will operate CNC trim saws, back staplers, glue guns, and other shop equipment, read tapes, and ensure orders are completed on time.

You will move materials, inspect quality, and collaborate with a team to achieve on-time deliveries. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and flexible overtime. Benefits include medical/dental, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred.
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift.
• Candidate must have a good work history.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably.
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder.
• Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills, and be detail oriented.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kval CNC trim saw.
• Operate V-Nail back stapler and glue gun.
• Operate miter box.
• Read and interpret a tape measurer.
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Use a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations.
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Maintain communication with department lead on progress with work orders.
• Collaborate with team to ensure 100% on-time deliveries.
• PICK material using a stand/sit forklift as needed.
