Job summary

Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time 1st shift Prehung Door Casing Assembler. The role involves operating a CNC trim saw, stapler and glue gun, and miter box, while reading a tape measure and ensuring orders are completed on time.

Teamwork and attention to quality are essential as you move material, inventory, and deliveries through the warehouse. Candidates should have warehouse or material handler experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs comfortably.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to learn forklift operation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Kval CNC trim saw.
• Operate V-Nail back stapler and glue gun.
• Operate miter box.
• Read and interpret a tape measurer.
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Use a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations.
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Communicate with department lead on progress with work orders.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
