Join Team Dahl as a Diesel Technician at Dahl Ford Truck La Crosse in La Crosse, WI!

In this position, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various makes and models of heavy-duty vehicles. The primary focus will be Ford commercial vehicles; however, all heavy-duty brands are worked on at this location.

This is a 2nd shift, hourly position working Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
5. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
6. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Previous heavy-duty experience
• Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies
