Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; a technical diploma or degree in diesel mechanics is a huge plus.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of dedicated experience working as a diesel mechanic.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with diagnostic software and digital tools.
• Compliance: Ability to pass safety standards for safety-sensitive roles.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication, team-first attitude, ability to read and use English repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy-duty diesel trucks and hydraulics.
• Maintain and tune heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrical vehicles.
• Plan and schedule repairs in the M5 planner; procure parts for flawless execution.
• Follow all safety regulations to keep self and team safe.
• Collaborate with team to review write-ups, coordinate shop schedules, and onboard new staff.
• Stay current with industry technology through manuals and training.
