Job summary

rideRVT in Williamsport, PA is hiring a Class B Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm–12 am). The role covers preventive maintenance on diesel and CNG buses, autos, and light trucks, plus minor repairs and road testing.

Candidates must hold a PA CDL B with passenger endorsement and air brakes restriction lifted, plus a valid PA license; basic hand/power tools and CDL training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Requires PA CDL B with passenger endorsement and air brakes restriction lifted.
• Must possess or be able to acquire basic hand and power tools.
• RVTA may provide training to secure appropriate CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Diesel and CNG buses, autos, light trucks and equipment.
• Minor mechanical repairs: tires, brakes, batteries, belts and hoses.
• Replace parts on vehicle operating systems.
• Service and fuel buses, cars, vans and trucks.
• Road test after repairs or maintenance.

• Parts replacement on vehicle operatingsystems
• Servicing and fueling of buses, cars, vans and trucks

• Position requires a valid PA drivers license withCDL B classification, air brakes restriction lifted as well as passenger endorsement.
• Must have or be able to acquire various basic hand and power tools

RVTA may provide training to secure appropriate CDL license.
