Job summary

Anchor Harvey is seeking a Die Setter/Operator to set up and clean dies and ensure tooling is available to run the forge schedule. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, accurate timing, and clear communication with the Tool & Die team.

The position involves reading schedules, working in a high-heat environment, handling hand tools, and maintaining die inventory while supporting a safe, efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean dies.
• Follow daily knockout schedule.
• Review forge schedule to ensure tooling is available to run forge schedule.
• Schedule tooling on the die schedule list and notify appropriate individuals.
• Receive work orders from Tool & Die.
• Deliver dies to the Tool & Die area.
• Notify Tool & Die of die repair type to ensure tooling is appropriate.
• Complete appropriate paperwork such as job set up sheets.
• Identify issues with the equipment and notify supervisor and/or maintenance.
• Notify Quality of quality issues.
• Maintain daily timekeeping, daily inserts and die inventory in the Knockout computer system.
• Report unusual or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Actively participate in efforts to establish and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
