The Gund Company in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Die Setter (Utility Operator II) for the 2nd shift. You will install, align, adjust, and remove dies in mechanical stamping presses to ensure quality and efficiency.

This is a full-time on-site role requiring basic math and measurement skills, plus the ability to work overtime. Starting wage is $26.00 per hour plus a 15% shift premium, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Willing to work overtime and emergency production needs.
• Experience with dies or presses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installing dies into mechanical stamping presses.
• Aligning and securing dies to exact specifications.
• Adjusting settings (ram, timing, stroke length).
• Inspect sample parts to ensure quality and tolerances.
• Troubleshooting defects like misalignment or cracks.
• Maintaining and inspecting dies for wear or damage.
• Following safety procedures in a heavy tooling environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
