Job summary

The role requires knowledge of die setting, press parameters, and the ability to start from a shutdown condition. You will perform quality inspections (First Off/Last Off) and ensure proper rail setups, die alignment, and bolsters positioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with transfer press and die setting preferred.
• Must follow safety regulations and maintain housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate transfer press and perform die setting and die changes.
• Conduct quality inspections including First Off/Last Off per inspection strategy.
• Transports dies, sets up and changes dies according to the production schedule.
• Train part packers on proper procedures and ensure max utilization of dies in the press.
• Communicate issues to the Press Improvement Teams and assist with improvements.
