RRD is seeking a Bindery Machine Operator for the 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift in Wisconsin. You will set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines, inspect equipment for safety and ensure high-quality output of books, magazines or catalogs.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple work stations, directing crew, monitoring quality and productivity, and making precise adjustments using hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of binding and finishing processes.
• Understand paper weights, sizes, colors and how they affect machine setup.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions for production.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate binding machines to produce finished books or catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and maintain operational accuracy.
• Coordinate multiple work stations and guide crew through production.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity, making adjustments as needed.
