Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Press Assistant Operator to support press setup, operation, and quality control on the second shift. You will work closely with the Press Operator and Cutter Operator to ensure products meet customer specifications and production goals, serving as a backup during breaks and absences.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of assistant operator experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data into manufacturing systems.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with press setup, changeovers, size changes, and make-readies.
• Operate and maintain the auto stacker and roll stand.
• Monitor press operations to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.
• Conduct random quality inspections and verify artwork and materials.
• Record production data and maintain documentation in Shop Floor systems.
