Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling in Oklahoma City is seeking an Assembler I to produce and assemble air units and parts according to specifications. Under supervision, you will assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools, read blueprints, and verify tolerances.

You will maintain a clean, safe work area, follow safety regulations, and cooperate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Uses hand or power tools for assembly tasks.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the company.
• Supports Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the company.
• Commits to performing job duties in a manner that ensures a safe work environment.
• Willingly and cooperatively performs other related duties as assigned by management.
