Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Assembler to build high-quality air conditioning units. You will work on a fast-paced manufacturing floor, assembling components per blueprints and instructions, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Military experience or technical training in the armed forces is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and finished products using hand and power tools.
• Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report defects or production issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use basic computer systems to track production and inventory.
• Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Support overtime and production demands as needed.
