Job summary

C&W Services in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Cleaner for 2nd shift to perform custodial duties across the building in line with established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, collecting trash, and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Uses a portable vacuum cleaner – backpack style.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including high dusting.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and windows.
