Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College is seeking a custodian for the 2nd shift to maintain cleanliness and minor maintenance of its facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restroom sanitation, with additional duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements are an eighth grade education and 1 year of custodian experience, with preferred High School/GED. Benefits include extensive leave, insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Eighth grade education or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in custodian work.
• Ability to follow instructions on chemicals used for cleaning.
• Flexibility to work weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of building including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Dust and clean furniture, empty trash, and disinfect restrooms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
