Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 Years of experience with some supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substitued.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently, resolve problems and function as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate well, with strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload with minimal supervision to meet required deadlines.
• High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and operate bulky and heavy equipment.
• Physically capable of lifting 40 -50 lbs.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Knowledge of supervisory responsibilities, department and College policies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google suite

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs daily custodial work.
• Prepares schedules and assigns work.
• Trains custodial staff and reviews performance.
• Coordinates with external suppliers for services and pricing.
• Acts as backup on custodial issues when manager is absent.
• Maintains records and ensures safety compliance.
