Job summary

Webster Groves School District is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee the custodial staff in the assigned building, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and the community.

Responsibilities include supervising daily work, inspecting areas, leading staff, and evaluating performance with minimal supervision. A High School Diploma is preferred, along with three years of custodial supervisory experience and two years as a custodian.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Three (3) years of custodial supervisory experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum of two years prior experience as a custodian.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Skills in the use of equipment used in routine cleaning.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Inspect assigned areas daily to ensure work is proper and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work of custodians.
• Inspect all assigned areas daily to ensure work is carried out properly and orderly.
• Lead other custodians in the performance of their jobs.
• Evaluate performance of custodial personnel.
• Perform duties without daily direct supervision.
