Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Production Operator for Cuprobraze assembly on the production line. You will follow drawings and work instructions to build heat exchanger components with a lead-free brazing process, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and operating equipment such as pneumatic drills and overhead hoists while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years assembly experience in manufacturing/industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to use tools and equipment needed for assembly operations.
• Good listening and communication skills required.
• Ability to work well with others as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or disassemble on a production line and may train in multiple work cells.
• Follow work instructions to assemble and test units as required.
• Follow applicable procedures and maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report equipment malfunctions or deviations.
• Support and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
