Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. is seeking a Cultivation Manager for the 2nd shift at our Palatka, Florida facility. The role leads all commercial canopy operations, oversees end-to-end crop production, and ensures compliance with Florida OMMU and related security and recordkeeping standards.

The position requires 3–5 years of hands-on cannabis cultivation leadership, expertise in environmental control systems, IPM, and seed-to-sale tracking, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Botany, or closely related field, or equivalent commercial cultivation leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale, commercial indoor or greenhouse cannabis or high-density horticulture operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing multi-tiered operational teams in a regulated agricultural setting.
• Experience with environmental automation platforms and HVAC/climate control systems.
• Mastery of fertigation, water treatment, and automated dosing equipment.
• Knowledge of seed-to-sale compliance tracking systems (BioTrack, Canix, Odoo) or similar ERP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily grow room and canopy operations to ensure peak plant health and maximum crop efficiency.
• Execute crop production schedules, harvest rotations, and canopy management strategies.
• Manage fertigation, automated irrigation, nutrient delivery, media moisture, and water chemistry.
• Control environmental conditions including HVAC, lighting, humidity, and CO2 integration.
• Implement and monitor IPM practices and crop protection protocols.
• Train, mentor, and schedule cultivation staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain strict compliance with state regulations and seed-to-sale tracking requirements.
