Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Crane Maintenance Technician III for the 2nd shift at Davenport, IA to support our industrial maintenance team. The role includes crane and hoist maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety procedures on site.

Responsibilities involve responding to work orders, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborating with the maintenance crew to ensure safe operation across facilities. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining cranes and hoists in industrial settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues on cranes.
• Crane maintenance tech with safety and PPE adherence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cranes, hoists, and related equipment.
• Safely follow job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures, and wear PPE as required.
• Identify and correct safety-related issues and conduct equipment evaluations to prevent failures.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on equipment and operate at heights as needed.
• Travel to local Davenport/Quad-Cities sites as required by assignments.
