Zusammenfassung

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a Composite Technician Assembler to fabricate, assemble, and repair advanced composite structures using carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass.

Under supervision, you will read engineering blueprints, prepare molds, perform material lay-up, curing, finishing, and install fasteners to meet precise specifications. This is a 2nd shift role from 3pm to 12:30 am, onsite, with emphasis on safety and precise workmanship.

Qualifikationen

• Entry-level position (0–2 years) in manufacturing or aerospace environments.
• Able to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with composite materials or aerospace components is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Align and fit composite parts per drawings and specs.
• Bond components with structural adhesives and sealants.
• Install fasteners and verify torque values.
• Assemble complex structures with inserts, brackets and hardware.
• Prepare bonding surfaces and perform lay-up, curing, and finishing.
• Record process steps and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support quality processes.
