Job summary

Summit Building Services is hiring for a part-time janitorial position in Warren, Ohio. The role involves cleaning offices and common areas, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining floors and common spaces in a traditional office/industrial building.

Shifts are 8–11 pm on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat; pay is $15.00 per hour. Reliable transportation, drug test and background check are required. Opportunities for advancement and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to work and be able to pass drug test and background check.
• Position requires safety goggles and ear plugs on the plant side of the building.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop.
• Clean floors: dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and pick up larger objects.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, mirrors, doors and walls.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies
• Maintain organization of assigned areas: separate clean and dirty laundry and keep janitor’s closet clean
• Use the communications book to request consumables and share facility information
• Communicate with Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other issues
• Follow health and safety regulations and perform additional duties as assigned
