Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator at the Acorn Facility to safely move product using electric or manual jacks, pick orders, and prepare shipments. The role supports production, warehouse, and shipping with attention to detail in a cold, fast-paced environment.

The position requires reading English, accurate paperwork handling, and effective communication with team members. It is a 2nd shift, in-person, full-time role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and understand English.
• Identify items on paperwork.
• Communicate with supervisors and team.
• Be trained to safely operate an electric jack.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Able to pick, transport, load and stage products for shipment.
• Work in damp, cold environments.
• Walk constantly while selecting and delivering products.

Responsibilities

• Move product in/out of coolers, freezers, and shipping areas using an electric or manual jack.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment.
• Ensure correct products are loaded and transported to the right areas.
• Assemble merchandise for shipment.
• Carry orders to shipping locations using handling equipment.
• Stencil or tag orders as requested.
• Repack and weigh orders when needed.
• Report quality variances or order discrepancies to supervision.
• Read and understand paperwork and identify items.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Operate jack equipment after training.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Follow safety rules and policies.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
