EDCOAT, LLC in New Carlisle, IN is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (4pm–midnight). This full-time role supports the Shipping team, handling raw materials, packaging coils, and ensuring accurate paperwork for shipments.

The position requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, forklift and/or overhead crane familiarity, and a focus on safety and reliability. Overtime may be required in a dynamic metal-processing environment.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years previous manufacturing experience.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and position raw materials for processing in shipping.
• Load and unload coils using overhead crane or forklift.
• Weigh coils and record weight and coil number with paperwork.
• Receive paints, solvents, and plant supplies with verification.
• Move coils to inventory or staging locations for production continuity.
• Package coils as required and prepare for shipment.
• Operate a coil upender or coil car for packaging needs.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist in packaging finished products.
