Job summary

EDCOAT, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor for the New Carlisle, IN facility. This full-time, first-shift role leads the shipping/receiving team, manages inventory accuracy, and ensures timely deliveries while upholding safety and compliance across operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in shipping/receiving with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in inventory systems and MS Office. NetSuite knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping and receiving with at least 1 year in supervision
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office; NetSuite a plus
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and logistics best practices

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members; provide performance feedback to HR and management.
• Plan and coordinate inventory cycle counts; minimize discrepancies.
• Prepare and verify receiving tags, bills of lading, and shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized workspace; enforce regulations.
