Job summary

LSI Industries in Columbus, Ohio, is hiring a Coating Technician to encapsulate prepared printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies using coating and potting materials. The role involves operating potting and conformal coating equipment, masking steps, and ensuring readiness for shipment.

You will maintain a clean work area, follow SOPs, and interact professionally with colleagues while representing the company in the community.

Responsibilities

• Coat and/or pot printed circuit boards and various electronic assemblies.
• Operate potting/conformal coating machines.
• Mask assemblies for coating and remove masking after process.
• Use of hand tools to assemble, inspect, test, clean and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow prescribed regulations.
• Complete tasks per production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Represent LSI Industries positively with employees, clients, suppliers and the community.

Summary:

Encapsulate prepared printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies using coating and potting materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coat and/or pot prepared printed circuit boards and various electronic assemblies.
• Operating potting/conformal coating machines
• Use masking materials to prepare electronic assemblies for coating and/or potting process.
• Remove masking materials from coated and/or potted electronic assemblies.
• Use of various hand tools, equipment, and materials to assemble, inspect, test, clean and perform other tasks necessary to prepare for shipment.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations.
• Represent LSI Industries in the most positive manner with prospective, current and former employees, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.
• Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.
• Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.
