Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Coating Technician to encapsulate prepared printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies using coating and potting materials, on the 2nd shift.

You will operate potting/conformal coating machines, apply masking materials, and prepare assemblies for shipment while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to procedures. LSI emphasizes teamwork, professional conduct, and reliable attendance in a diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience with coating/potting processes is preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coat and/or pot prepared printed circuit boards and various electronic assemblies.
• Operate potting and conformal coating machines.
• Apply masking materials and prepare assemblies for coating and/or potting process.
• Remove masking materials from coated and/or potted assemblies.
• Use hand tools and equipment to assemble, inspect, test, clean and prepare for shipment.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow prescribed regulations.
• Represent LSI Industries professionally with employees, clients and the community.
• Interact with a diverse group of employees and customers.
• Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on management hours.
