H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a CNC Turret Operator to join our precision metal fabrication team on the second shift in Oxford, NC. You will set up and operate Amada turret punch presses to produce high-quality sheet metal components, aligning parts with blueprints and maintaining tight tolerances.

The role requires 2+ years in sheet metal fabrication, experience with Amada or similar equipment, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sheet metal fabrication or related trade preferred.
• Experience operating Amada or similar fabrication machinery a plus.
• 1-2 years CNC turret punch experience (Amada preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication tolerances.
• Familiarity with sheet metal types, gauges, and layouts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turret punch presses according to production schedules and part specifications.
• Load and unload sheet metal, ensuring proper alignment and material handling.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers.
• Verify part dimensions and quality using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Make machine adjustments and tool changes as required.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to maintain tight tolerances.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep machines clean and in good working order.
• Communicate issues or improvement ideas to the production supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
• Machine operation for proper forming and quality control.
• Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
