Job summary

H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC in Oxford, NC is seeking an Amada Press Brake Operator for the second shift. You will set up and operate Amada CNC press brakes to form sheet metal parts with precision, reading blueprints and using calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience, familiarity with Amada equipment, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in sheet metal fabrication or related trade preferred.
• Experience operating Amada or similar fabrication machinery a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years operating CNC press brakes (Amada preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of bend allowances and tolerances.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude required.
• Shift hours: Second shift (6am–4:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada CNC press brakes to bend sheet metal parts per blueprints.
• Interpret part drawings and verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers.
• Perform first-piece inspections and adjust for accuracy.
• Maintain tooling, perform setups, and ensure correct programs for each job.
• Monitor machine operation for quality and proper forming.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
