Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing seeks a Machine Shop Lead to supervise daily CNC operations, drive safety, quality, and on-time production. The role combines hands-on machining with team leadership across CNC turning, milling, Swiss, and light assembly.

You will mentor operators, coordinate workflow, and push continuous improvement through Kaizen, 5S, and SOPs while maintaining ISO 9001/AS9100 standards. This is a hands-on leadership position on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in precision CNC machining with lead/supervisory exposure.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and set up machining operations.
• Hands-on background in CNC setup/operator across turning and milling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and coordinate work across the department to meet production schedules and priority deadlines.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex CNC issues and help with troubleshooting.
• Ensure ISO 9001/AS9100 quality procedures and inspections are followed.
