Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. in Ave Maria, FL is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I-2nd Shift to join our manufacturing team.

The role coordinates and performs cleaning and basic maintenance on CNC machines and related production equipment to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 6 months of related experience, able to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy objects, and willing to work the 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of directly related training/experience.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning out the chip beds/vacuuming reservoirs in CNC machines.
• Processing the chips through the Chip Spinner to extract oil.
• Returning recovered oil back to the machines.
• Disposal of metal chips into recycle containers.
• Ensuring machines have proper oil levels.
• Keep track of oil inventory.
• Assist with production tasks such as crimping, shearing, bending or Gun drilling when needed.
• Assist as needed in other facilities maintenance duties.
