Job summary

GS Precision Inc in Keene, New Hampshire, seeks a CNC Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:15pm–11:45pm). You will operate machines, adjust tooling, inspect parts, and ensure tolerances per production sketches.

A HS diploma or GED and 3 months to 1 year of experience are preferred; machining experience is a plus, but not required. The team focuses on precision components for aerospace/defense, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months to 1 year or more of experience in machining or related field.
• Ability to understand measurement and inspection devices.
• Able to interpret blue prints.
• Understand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate Machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, Lead person or Set-up Person.
• Make adjustments (e.g., tool offsets) as allowed to produce parts within tolerances and specifications.
• Inspect parts to assure compliance using micrometers, verniers, gauges and fixtures.
• Report problems or unusual circumstances to supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and data.
