Shift Differential for 3rd Shift

Job summary

GS Precision Inc in Keene, NH is hiring a CNC Operator for the 3rd shift to set up and run machines, adjust tooling, and inspect parts to tolerance using micrometers and gauges. You will maintain production records and work as part of a team on a fast-paced line.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year machining experience; blueprint interpretation and precise measurement are essential. Shift differential applies for 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year or more of experience in machining or manufacturing.
• Machining experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand measurement and inspection devices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Understand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, lead person or set-up person.
• Make adjustments (e.g. change tool offsets) to produce parts within tolerances.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, gauges and fixtures.
• Report problems or unusual circumstances to supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and keep area clean and organized.
• Work safely and adhere to company policies.
