Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to lead our Elizabethton, TN manufacturing team. You will program CNC equipment, review tooling, and guide daily production with a focus on time-and-motion efficiency.

Responsibilities include observing processes, updating the tooling matrix, editing ISO/EIA CNC programs, and training staff. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production management, manufacturing or industrial technology.
• Prior management and supervisory experience or other leadership experience preferred.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
• Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze processes to determine time and motion; program CNC equipment.
• Analyze work study data and equipment specifications to set time and production standards for costing, labor reporting and production analysis.
• Troubleshoot shop problems associated with new or existing tooling and equipment.
• Assist in training of personnel.
• Set up machinery and equipment for production on proven programs.
• Review change orders.
• Update existing entries in the tooling matrix.
• Edit and prove out ISO/EIA CNC programs.
