Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic & Technician on the 2nd shift to coordinate and perform daily maintenance on heavy wood processing equipment, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines, Homag Saws, and Edge banding. This role also covers plumbing, electrical, and building systems to keep production running smoothly.

The position requires 5+ years in similar maintenance roles, a high school diploma or GED, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles with heavy CNC-style machinery.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints and operate hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy wood processing equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and requisition parts.
• Ensure facility compliance with local codes and safety policies.
