This role includes maintaining logs, training operators, and meeting tight tolerances. You must have 3+ years of machining experience with CNC or a 2-year machinist program, plus proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in CNC set-up/operation or 2-year machinist program with CNC experience.
• Proficient with basic measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Able to read blueprints and interpret tolerances precisely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools with high skill.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and change notices for complex parts.
• Machine metals and perform quality checks with precision instruments.
• Maintain records and logs; train others as needed.
• Meet tolerances and finish specifications within allotted time.
• Operate furnaces, autoclaves, and other process equipment as required.
