Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist I for 2nd shift to safely operate CNC mills and lathes, perform setup and inspections, and support production quality. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, program loading via Predator, and routine maintenance of equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of CNC experience, reads technical drawings, and works to maintain efficient run times while keeping a clean, safe workspace. An incentive bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience is required.
• Extensive experience as a CNC Technician with a focus on safety and operational competencies.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC mills and lathes and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform setup, maintenance, and inspection tasks; verify tool lengths and offsets.
• Load programs through Predator and USB; update and adjust as needed.
• Read refractometers, check coolant concentration, and maintain machine cleanliness.
• Maintain a tidy workspace and follow SOPs.
