Job summary

General Machine Products Company in Mansfield, TX is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm-5am). You will set up, operate, monitor and adjust multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe to produce quality parts.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers, performing offsets, troubleshooting, and contributing to 6S/lean practices. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of related CNC experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and basic English required.
• Experience with CNC milling/grinding/lathe preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust multi-axis CNC machines.
• Inspect parts during production with calipers, micrometer, and other gauges.
• Read work orders and blueprints to meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate production counts and lean practices.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to 6S standards and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Cross-train by rotating to different machines as required.
