Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, Ohio seeks a CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to join the Vane/Liner Cell. The role operates and sets up CNC mills, inspects parts, performs deburring, and handles sub-assembly tasks per manufacturing blueprints and specs.

Hours are 3:00pm–11:30pm, onsite. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and CNC experience; annual bonus of $1,000 is available. Applicants must pass eye exam and safety checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must have previous CNC machining and milling experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints, detail sheets, manufacturing outlines and instructions.
• Requires basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Knowledge of fixtures, cutting tools, CNC controls and machines is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines within the Vane/Liner Cell.
• Maintain cell inventory and ensure part quality.
• Inspect parts, deburr, perform flush, use gauges and perform sub-assembly tasks.
• Follow blueprints and manufacturing outlines to meet specs.
• Document non-conformances and keep process records.
