LeoForce in El Monte, CA is seeking a Mid Level CNC Machinist to operate sophisticated 5-axis equipment on the 2nd shift. You will prepare tooling, optimize setups, and work closely with programmers to ensure on-time delivery of high-precision parts for aerospace and defense programs.

The role requires solid CNC operation experience, blueprint interpretation, and familiarity with Siemens 840D and Fanuc 31i-B5 controls. A strong commitment to quality and AS9100 procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid CNC equipment operation experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting tolerances.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Maintain and follow AS9100 procedures, supporting continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with programmers to minimize setup and manufacturing time.
• Order cutters and tooling needed for production.
• Prioritize the machine schedule alongside management.
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and fixtures.
• Flag quality or time-management concerns to leadership.
• Evaluate potential impacts of product failures on customer requirements.
