Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift in Connecticut. The role involves setting up machines, editing programs, and ensuring parts meet specifications on complex aerospace-related components.

You will read blueprints, select tools, and troubleshoot processes while maintaining quality through measurement and documentation. A strong GD&T background and Fanuc experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; trade school is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T.
• Experience with multi-axis milling or turning.
• Fanuc-controlled machines experience preferred.
• Prior aerospace manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up machines and editing programs to keep parts to specification.
• Reading technical blueprints and selecting cutting tools.
• Troubleshooting manufacturing process issues.
• Performing quality checks with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Documenting setup sheets and transactions.
• Training new staff on operation procedures.
