Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist for Lewis Center, Ohio, on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). You will set up CNC lathes, write/edit CNC programs, and inspect parts to exact tolerances using precision tools. The role requires blueprint literacy, strong attention to detail, and teamwork in a safety‑driven environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.00–$27.00 with a $3.00 shift differential, plus benefits, and direct hire through Eastridge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a machining environment.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on CNC lathe experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience setting up CNC lathes.
• Ability to write or edit CNC programs and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Ability to work from blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes and other machining equipment according to blueprint specifications, materials, and production requirements.
• Write and edit CNC programs as needed to support machining operations.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make appropriate adjustments to maintain production and quality requirements.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required product specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Inspect machined components using calipers, micrometers, profile projectors, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing team members while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
