Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Laser Operator to run TRUMPF Boost laser cutting and bending systems, ensuring high-quality output on every run. The role requires programming, file conversion from SolidWorks, and creating standard work for new and existing programs.

Join a fully equipped, air-conditioned shop with a Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm schedule, weekly pay, paid holidays, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC laser cutting, bending systems, and workflows.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and similar equipment.
• Understanding of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborative team player across departments.

The Role

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and programming our TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems, ensuring accurate, high-quality output on every run.

Responsibilities

• Operate TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending system programs
• Program files for laser cut nesting
• Convert SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files for production
• Create standard work instructions for new and existing programs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or older
• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
• Experience in laser operation and programming preferred
• Prior use of TRUMPF systems, Boost Programs, or TruTops is a strong plus
• Basic computer skills required
