Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CMM Programmer (Valves) on the 2nd shift to perform precision inspections and GD&T verifications on mechanical parts and assemblies. The role requires PC-DMIS experience with Romer ARM and DCC CMMs within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

2+ years of CMM programming experience.

Responsibilities

Perform precision inspection (CMM or surface plate) verification on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials.
Understand GD&T requirements as applied to the engineering drawing and notes.
Spot interpretation issues as applied to dimensions written or evaluation to requirements.
Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality and inspect tolerances.
Work with PC-DMIS programming for Romer ARM and DCC CMMs in cross-functional teams.
Create and maintain all inspection programs ensuring current revision control.
