Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Cleaner for the 2nd shift in our Midland, TX area. You will supervise cleaning staff, coordinate daily interior and exterior cleaning, and ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience, strong organization, and proficiency with MS Office and work order systems. The position is office-based with on-site responsibilities and occasional travel between properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related supervisory experience.
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with others.
• Strong organizational and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and assign cleaning staff for interior building cleaning per procedures.
• Inspect areas, issue supplies, and conduct inventory to ensure adequate materials.
• Screen and hire aides, train staff, conduct performance reviews, and assist promotions.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, hours worked, staff assignments and expenses.
• Supervise exterior cleaning, snow removal, and basic maintenance of exterior areas.
• Coordinate minor maintenance and repairs (lighting, doors, plumbing).
• Assist with tenant moves and other duties as needed.
• Respond to spills and safety issues and notify management.
• Ensure safe operation of cleaning equipment and SDS compliance.
• Maintain SDS for products and ensure appropriate PPE.
