Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. seeks a reliable 2nd shift General Cleaner for our Grand Island, NY facility. Shift runs Mon Tue Wed Fri Sun 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Pay rate is $17.00/hr with weekly pay and signing bonuses totaling $300 after start plus staged $100 payments at 30, 60, and 90 days.

You'll sweep, vacuum, mop floors, clean restrooms, collect trash, and assist with minor repairs. Strong stamina and dependable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and dexterity required.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from site.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Demonstrated professionalism on the job.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Mix cleaning agents according to specifications.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Possible floor work (steam cleaning carpets, waxing, buffing).
• Other duties as assigned.
