Job summary

Certus Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2nd shift. The CNA provides quality nursing care, coordinates with the department, and supports the care plan for each resident.

Qualified candidates must hold Michigan CNA certification or have completed a state-approved CNA training program and be eligible to test within 4 months of hire. Experience in long-term care or health care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test. Must be certified within 4 months of hire.
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes rights, dignity, and individuality.
• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and other needs per care plans.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.
• Report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse and document care provided.
• Support safety, infection control procedures, and proper disposal of materials.
